EDITOR’S LETTER – WINTER 2013
It has been a very productive year in 2013, and we are most grateful and excited that next year will be Asian Fusion Magazine’s 6th year. Not only were we the first Asian/Asian-American lifestyle quarterly magazine in the New York metropolitan area, but we also continue to be one of the most successful. We always strive to show our diverse communities as distinctly individual, but also uniquely united in a culture that reflects all of our common bonds. Asian Fusion is proud to continue to move forward across the bridge that connects East and West. Whether it’s creating more business opportunities, sharing the potential of new ideas, or broadening awareness of the excitement happening in the Asian community, Asian Fusion has truly become a focal point across many venues.
The Asian Fusion website has already surpassed 1.5 million impressions (that’s simply amazing!) and our Facebook page has over 10,000 followers, and reached 6,000 likes (that’s impressive!) in just one year. Our website and social media continue to bring us more readership as we post instant news updates, special events, restaurant close-ups, or travel and cultural articles of interest on-line.
Over the years, Asian Fusion has quietly, yet very successfully, transitioned our business to become a multimedia company that is able to design websites, develop print, and enhance social media. Looking ahead to 2014, our growth continues with an increase in our print format, and also adding more content on our website and Facebook page.
In this issue…. we have great holiday content that includes holiday fashions, beauty tips for the season, international travel and of course, shopping. We will take you to William Barthman Jewelers to see the Rolex watch World Tour special watch style, and Americana Manhasset spends the holidays at the shore to feature their designer cruise wear for 2014. Helping you get through the upcoming cold weather, we’ve got winter beauty tips to keep you and your skin looking great. You’ll want to start your engines with our look at the 2014 styles for automobiles, and then pack your bags as we travel together around the globe to such beautiful places as Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. You’re sure to be hungry after all that traveling, so be sure to check out our fine dining restaurant reviews for some of the best places to eat in New York City.
I want to also congratulate Eva Air on their new home in Times Square, along with the Taiwan Tourism Bureau’s advertising currently lighting up the billboards in the ‘crossroads of the world’.
And always remember, you can always check out our website www.asianfusionmag.com. to catch up on any missed issues, or to find the latest goings on in the NYC Asian community and beyond.
We hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday, and a prosperous New Year 2014!
