Keyakizaka Galaxy

Two major areas in Roppongi, Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown, are both famous for their large-scale winter illuminations. For 2015, Roppongi Hills creates 5 different themes for their visitors. In Roku Roku Plaza, you can see the Christmas tree made with crystal cubes changing its colors with the wind; in the traditional Japanese Mohri Garden, the lights around the garden and their reflection on the surface of water create the most romantic scenery in the night time. The most popular spot is no doubt the “Keyakizaka Galaxy”. Colored LED lights switch between “snow blue” and “candle red” on both sides of the street, lighting up the whole area along with the glow from Tokyo Tower. Another complex area in Roppongi, Tokyo Midtown, creates the “Midtown Cruise” for this winter. The blue LED lights cover the whole “Green Square” and display the air-space-like illuminations which catch everyone’s eyes. Visitors will be able to experience the amazing light show everyday till the end of the year.
