This very special event aims to highlight an uncompromising luxury of the Cadillac ELR coupe. But Cadillac is not just the key object, this project specifically invites four top New York City based photographers to personally drive the first-ever electric-hybrid Cadillac.

These four renowned photographers were Jonathan Mannion, who photographed eight of Jay-Z’s album covers. Liz Eswein, one of the most famous photographers on instagram today, 13th Witness (aka Tim McGurr), and our New York City native Derrick Jones. With a true passion for art and photography, these four accomplished photographers brought unprecedented artistic expression to the new Cadillac ELR coupe. Through their lens, this project combined luxury with art. As a result, “under the inspired lens” is the heart of New York City’s nightlife and hotspots in a beautiful light.

By not only recognizing the role of fashion/art in the auto manufacturing industry, but also a direct result of cross industry collaboration, the new Cadillac ELR coupe’s super modern design, and shiny appearance is definitely one of the most innovative ideas. This transcends our traditional view of a vehicle that is about transportation and convenience, but is a reflection of an aesthetic view in our modern society. Cars are just like our clothes; they should be fashionable, and presentable and New York City is a perfect background for the creation of such a collaboration given the city’s exceedingly excessive exposure to fashion and art.
