The open-air retail and entertainment district will host a special Dragon Dance and cultural performances during Friday, Jan 27 – Monday, Jan. 30.. Throughout the four-day festival, guests will be taken on a journey around the world as they experience performances from various entertainers on The LINQ Promenade Stage. Dragon dance performances, sponsored by Tsingdao beer, performed by Lohan School of Shaolin will be held nightly at 6pm. Other Lunar New Year events include; the High Roller lighting show opening ceremony, Tsingdao beer sample tasting, Lunar New Year Happy Hours at OfftheStrip, AmeriCan, Tilted Kilt, Gordon Ramsay Fish-n-Chips and more.
The Forum Shops Dragon
A legendary creature in Chinese mythology and folklore, the dragon is a traditional symbol of power, strength, and good luck. The Forum Shops at Caesars is once again sharing this fabled creature in a big way by welcoming a 22-ft. long, 6-ft. wide and 12-ft. high dragon to the world-renowned retail destination. the massive 950-lb steel-framed dragon is covered in 30,000 red and amber LED lights, many of which flicker, giving the mythical beast a vibrant look and dynamic feel. The dazzling dragon sits upon a lush red carpet surrounded by hand-painted wood pillars, gold fencing and red velvet ropes.
