Service quality improvement has always been firmly embedded as EVA’s priority. From airport check-in to inflight service, EVA strives for perfection in every detail. As advancing technologies have created new pathways for innovation and continual improvements in the passenger experience, EVA has introduced new comforts and conveniences.
EVA’s official website and APP for mobile devices enable passengers to save time at the airport by selecting seats and checking in ahead of time.
EVA regularly works with well-known brands to create new service items and inflight products such as Natural Benefits cold-pressed mango mixed juice, France’s PAUL pound cake and SEASON Cuisine Pâtissiartism Neige cake.
Especially for Royal Laurel Class business passengers, EVA has introduced “California Blue” RIMOWA and Georg Jensen leather amenity kits for long-haul flights to and from Taipei, Taiwan. EVA collaborated with London- based “APUJAN” to design new pajamas and make its flights even more comfortable. It has also improved and updated service items in Premium Economy Class, starting with new food and beverage menus created by JL Design.
“We are thrilled to be awarded 5-Star Airline certification for the third consecutive year,” said EVA President Clay Sun. “I’m especially grateful to the EVA staff and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for always doing their very best to serve every passenger. It is a great honor to be recognized by travelers from around the globe. We will never lose sight of our goal for EVA to be the very best. We aim to make every journey with us a delightful, relaxing experience for every passenger.”
SKYTRAX identified the world’s best airlines through analyses of an extensive global passenger satisfaction survey that featured 335 airlines in the final results. Between August 2017 and May 2018, 20.36 million travelers, representing more than 100 nationalities, responded in English, Spanish and Chinese on 49 survey topics, including airport and onboard environments. The global ratings organization describes the survey as “independent, impartial and global” and its awards program is not-for-profit.
The annual World Airline Awards are among the most respected in the airline industry. After being recognized in past surveys for outstanding services and products in multiple areas, EVA is proud to have brought home the 2018 SKYTRAX World Airline Awards and rank among the top 10 in 13 categories.
EVA is frequently honored, awarded and recognized by organizations worldwide. AirlineRatings ranked EVA among “World’s Top 20 Safest Airlines.” TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, honored EVA with five distinctions, “5th place in Top-10 World’s Best Airline Award,” “Top-10 Major Airlines in Asia,” “Best Business Class in Asia,” “Best Premium Economy Class in Asia” and “Travelers’ Choice Economy Class in Asia.”
