Is it about the color, the shape, or the overall style? With Malan Breton’s men’s collection it’s all 3. This has been something of a banner year for Malan, as he partnered with the Taiwanese tourism board and presented an extensive collection at New York Fashion Week in September. That was followed by winning the 2014 Fashion Icon Of The Year award from UCOF and an award from the European Fashion Council. Currently Malan Breton ranks 120 on the list of top 200 fashion companies for social media health as tracked by Sprinklr, alongside names like Abercrombie and Banana Republic.
As to the men’s collection itself, it’s a wildly expansive set inspired by his Taiwanese homeland. The swirling patterns are inspired by the artifacts and temples of Taiwan, matched with classic silhouettes. The garments are rich silks, and beside the patterns there’s also a stunning deep burgundy jacket and a sleek black suit and trench combo that would make any man look good. And Malan himself is proof of that, as he wears his own clothes for many of his public appearances. Visit MalanBreton.com for more.
