Japanese art is famous for its sensitivity to the nuances of the seasons. Enjoy splendid examples of masterworks by Sakai Hōitsu with a 30-minute exhibition highlights tour focused on fall flowers and grasses. Afterwards enjoy seasonal refreshments of wagashi (Japanese sweets) and green tea before a shuttle bus ride to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s living autumnal display—the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden, one of the oldest and most visited Japanese- inspired gardens outside Japan, and their Bonsai Museum.
