Winning awards left and right, Thailand’s own Chang Beer has become one of the fastest growing imports in the U.S., not to mention the fastest growing of all Asian beer imports. With a golden honey color, Chang has an aroma filled with scents that blend green apples and vanilla with a balanced flavor that is smooth and refreshing. It successfully combines the flavor of a rich beer with a light citrus tang, which perfectly adds to the exotic tastes and textures of Thai culture.
Chang’s most recent awards include two international gold medals from the Beverage Testing Institute 2008 World Beer Championships and the Monde Selection Bruxelles- World Selection of Quality. John Lennon, president of Chang U.S. importer International Beverage USA, is particularly proud of the continuous success of Chang, saying. “I have been in the beer business for many years, and few beers have impressed me more than Chang. It is simply one of the world’s finest tasting beers.” Lennon gives an enormous amount of credit to the distribution network whose customers are passionate about Chang’s complimenting taste and pleased to have it available in the U.S.
Chang Beer now has 60 distributors in 22 states, with an additional eight states that will be added by end of 2009. You can find this mouth-watering beverage at over 2,200 Thai and Asian Fusion restaurants locations that are branded with Chang POS. Such luxurious NYC restaurants include Breeze, Poo Ket, Talay, Jai ya, and Sura. Other locations include areas In Queens, such as Bann Thai, BKNY, Benjamin Taste of Thai, and Erawan Thai. Chang is also available nearly 2,000 off-premise retail locations, including several major grocery chains throughout the U.S. and growing.
With its refreshing taste that compliments any Asian dish, and high distribution all over the city, it’s no wonder people in New Yorkers have become Chang Beer fanatics.
