Terracotta Warriors: Defenders of China’s First Emperor

On April 27th, 2012, the exhibition–Terracotta Warriors: Defenders of China’s First Emperor was open to the public at Discovery Time Square. It is one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world. The exhibition features many ancient and authentic artifacts from the Tomb of China’s First Emperor, which can trace back to 221 BCE. People can see the precious, life-size terracotta warriors (6 Feet, over 600lbs) and many other treasures at the exhibition.

The exhibition is held by Discovery Time Square in partnership with China Institute in New York, that includes three history stages: the general history of Chin Dynasty- the first united China, and then the specific meanings of Terracotta Warriors, and lastly, the peaceful life after Chin Dynasty. The exhibition will last until August 2012. Tickets are available through the Discovery Times Square website (www.DiscoveryTS.com), phone (212-987-9692) or by visiting the Discovery Times Square box office. The prices are $19.50 (child 4-12), $25.00 (adult) and $22.50 (senior = 65).
