The 11th Annual New York Times Travel Show
The 11th annual New York Times Travel Show, the largest trade and consumer travel event in North America, featured nearly 500 sponsors and exhibitors representing over 150 countries. The show kicked off with a trade day for travel industry professionals, with the weekend open to the general public. Some of the biggest names in travel held on-site seminars, including Arthur and Pauline Frommer, Julia Dimon, Brian “The Points Guy” Kelly and Peter Greenberg.
Celebrated chefs Anne Burrell and Candice Kumai offered one-of-a-kind cooking demonstrations to the attendees and Doug Duda, A&E International Network’s “The Well-Seasoned Traveler,” hosted discussions and demonstrations at the “Taste of the World” culinary stage. It’s an annual pilgimage to the Javits Center where, in just a few hours, you can feel like you’ve traveled around the world.
